critterCountry IIX: anotherHeapingHandful...

Another heaping handful of critters to help populate critterCountry!
Note: I really need to think of a new name for these, if they ever turn into *anything*, as I believe this phrase 'critterCountry' has been taken 10 ways to Sunday. I've been toying around with the idea of a simple alt. spelling, i.e. Qritter Country, Qritter Quntry, kritterKountry, etc., but it gets confusing as to whether 'country' and 'critter' should start with the same letter, be understandable, remember-able, etc... These are the useless quandaries that occupy my brain;) In the mean time, CRITTER COUNTRY it is!...

These little buggers were actually based on a concept from the talented Lily Patenaude, which I feel might make some great little background critters in a game, etc. world. I REALLY need to find her original drawing, of this little guy!

MOAR critters, shiZam! These are even sloppier than usual + not much of a color pass-- as I have quite the backlog I'd like to get onto-- but I had to set them free to roam on the internet regardless. I believe they were born while playing with diff. body shapes for enemies in a random game idea... What a fantastic backstory!;)

 Hey, buddies- Another round of critters hot out of the oven! Again- Not very polished, but I've run 'em through a quick clean up and color pass (including some hand-stained papers) + plan on taking my favorites through the 'mounty' process once the studio is put back together. More SOON!

critter COUNTRY!

Firing up a new post to plant a collection of critter sketches. You might recognize some of them from instagram (that makes them famous), although these have undergone a proper scan, cleanUp pass, a bit of composite work, and a touch of color to pull the shapes apart. I'm hoping to take my favorites a bit further-- possibly by way of 'mounties'-- but for now, this is whatcha get! I have QUITE a few in the works, so plan on updating this post frequently (oh my).
